ABOUT US
Yachts for Life was birthed out of the heart to serve Pacific Island communities in a significant way. Having visited the outer islands over many years we identified thousands of precious people who live in the smallest communities and contribute significantly to life as a whole in their respective nations through fishing, agriculture and skilled craftsmanship.

Our team of dedicated people seeks to visit these communities on a regular basis with the intent to be a blessing. This happens in many different ways:

We show that we care by visiting and encouraging people in their homes, helping with community projects and teaching seminars that explain about who God is and how we can live a life under His Lordship. We distribute Bibles and other Christian literature written in the local language. Each visit will last two to three weeks whereby we seek to model godly character, displaying a spirit of love and unity while living with in the village community.

To get out there we use yachts as a means of transport. Yachts give us the freedom of scheduling, there are low fuel costs and in most cases they enable us to pull up close to a village.

Based out of Tauranga, New Zealand, our 2 yachts SY Mandolin (33' sloop) and SY Seahawk (53' yawl) are currently operating in Fiji.
We have plans to expand to other Island nations starting with Vanuatu.
